What to post?

From the pages of BHG...I think!

What to post? Lately that has become the big question here at my blog.....I seem to be in a state where I am just confused as to what sparks my fancy.....not sure why,wouldn't even say it's a bad thing......I am at peace and that's a very good thing! I'm at a point when there is much I feel I need to shed from my life.....mostly material things....keep the more necessary things and a few unnecessary :)
I wonder if my life were as organized as this sweet pantry cabinet would it really make that big of a difference? It is a nice pantry and I could see some necessary thing like that in my home.

Yard Birds

These chickens are my daughters...she has a little farm just down the drive from me,(not really but,she does has lots of animal friends)...these critters visit me everyday....they scratch the ground in my yard,sometimes my flowerbeds....they naturally fertilize where they roam,which isn't always a pleasant sight,get what I mean? :) They can be very noisy at times and big Daddy Henry,the rooster of the bunch, tries to charge me from time to time,which I managed to control with my cane... lol
With all that said...I enjoy watching these critters doing their same old routine day in and day out....and they bless me abundantly with fresh eggs to boot!  They are really nice having around.

If I could go somewhere for a get away...I would choose to go here to WA. to visit my dear friend Jackie and her lovely shop...that's a dream and I believe dreams can come true! Do you?

Sometimes the camera plays tricks and presents me with some different but,unique pictures,such as these two.....the bunny was a recent flea market find...its made from chalk covered in a glittery plastic substance...this is what happens when you put light to it...magical isn't it?
 

This is a little star shaped pillow that came with a give away I won from Mica from "The Child's Paper" long ago! It is certainly a necessary thing to keep...it reminds me of what is truly important in my life...remembering to pray humbly keeps my thoughts and my life in proportion....
