Johnny's Sr. Prom night.........

Happy Feet.

How did the years fly by so fast........I took this handsome young man under my wing just before his first B-D....what a blessing he has been in my life. The birth child of my niece,the child of my heart,sent from heaven above.....God placed him in my care! I made a commitment to him and to God to see him through school,grown and on to his own life...I will always be his mama,we are forever attached at our hearts.
The way hasn't always been a easy one,there were many challenges,tears and worries but,Oh,the joy!
His plan now,after graduation is to join the Marines,a dream he has carried since he was about 12....there is still an old vintage suitcase full of well played with GI Joe's among the chaos in his room,(the ones that survived the battles of war)...he's not,completely ready to give those up yet. Plus a much loved old Little Foot stuff animal from "The Land before Time" ,that was his constant companion until he was about 10. He is still very protective of that one. I am so glad he is no fan of this blog as he would be quite upset with me for sharing such intimate details of his life:) He has some wonderful god parents who have helped in so many ways with his upbringing which I will forever be grateful for........I have faith that he will make us proud in his future endeavors in life.
