| My kitchen window shelf.... I plan to pick some of my pansies for this ceramic doll's apron,which was a recent gift from my mama...I placed a small vintage juice glass inside to hold water for the cuttings. |

The little cup is from a vintage child's tea set..made in Japan....the bottle is a terrarium I am working on...it has a small succulent in it...I will be adding some little miniatures to it soon.
The woods around me seem quite inviting this morning...we have a soft rain falling ,the smell of wet earth is invigorating to me..I would love to go for a long walk through these woods,with basket in hand,gleaning treasures from nature...unfortunately,that would not be a wise thing for me to undertake...as I am prone to falling(not being able to get back up without help) and losing my balance mostly due to my arthritic knees and back.. plus,I wouldn't last but,a few feet before I would have to stop and rest....so I let my eyes wonder as far as they will reach through these woods...also,let my ears take in as many sounds as they can...and let my mind dream of what things await those who are able to venture into them....some things I am sure I wouldn't be so happy to come upon :) Especially the kind of creatures that creep upon their bellies...
