Now that the hype for the Hermes Birkin bag has died down a little, people are starting to see some of the Hermes more casual bags are also great alternatives to the elusive Birkin bag. My newest obsession is the Hermes Marwari Tote bag in the GM size. It is the larger of the 2 sizes and it drapes beautifully when you are carrying it around. What distinguishes this bag from anything else is the quality clemence leather and the craftmanship in the simple design. I love the large pocket in the front of the bag, it makes it sporty and less dainty than the picotin and definitely less ordinary than the garden party. It is a great alternative to all the other Hermes bags out right now because it is a relatively unknown Hermes bag so you won't see everyone on the street carrying this bag. I just love the subtle elegance of this bag. This is no ordinary bag. I found a pre owned Hermes Marwari GM at Portero.com
